My daughter, Kaylee Ann, was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes on her first birthday. At diagnosis, her blood sugar was 1240. After 4 days in the ICU at Children's Hospital and 3 days on the floor, we were able to bring our lil’ miracle home- as a diabetic.
