With the staggering number of people being diagnosed with diabetes and pre-diabetes on the rise, I felt inspired to reach out to that population.
I love what I do because it allows me help others transform their lives. When people first ask me for help starting a fitness routine, they usually want to drop some pounds or firm up their bodies. But the joy comes in watching them discover the other, larger benefits of exercise: the positive energy, vitality, and complete shift in their outlook on life. The weight loss simply becomes an added bonus.
My mission is to share that lifestyle with the diabetes community and to help stop the fear and confusion that many people experience when first diagnosed with diabetes or pre-diabetes. Taking control of one's health can help eliminate those feelings, replacing them with a sense of hope and courage.
