It is my desire to donate my gifts and platform to fight diabetes. I found out that African Americans are at high risk of developing type 2 diabetes but many times it can be prevented.

We need to take better care of ourselves, become educated on diabetes and the toll that it can take on us emotionally, physically and financially. We need to learn how to prevent the disease to help change the future for our families and for our loved ones.

We are all in this fight together. United, we can stop diabetes.
